~ caffeine rush..0_0 ~

Before anything else, I didn't blog yesterday..and for the events that occurred at SPS 5th floor, I sympathize for those that the guy left behind. It was really shocking most especially because the apparent cause of death was choking. Who would even think that it could happen and in just a snap of a finger?

And to think we were joking around after hearing a person scream during those hours (I apologize for that).

Just goes to show, you can never really tell when your time would be...

God bless his soul.

Okayyy.. For today, nothing really that significant to blog about. Just wanted to type away...weeeeeee.. :D

Forgive me. The caffeine is still in effect. Dominic, Amelie and I went by Starbucks this afternoon before our Fin-Majors marathon (well, at least for me and Amelie..five hours non-stop finance classes till 9:10pm, haha..adik!!). Got a venti frap for the first time, hahaha. The result? I was kinda hyper in class and talked a bit faster than usual (and a whole lot than usual! :p). I know I wasn't alone, right, Amelie? Hyper-mode!! haha :D The good news though is that I was wide awake the whole time and took down lots of notes. Oo, adik talaga.

I'd have to say today wasn't so bad. Even though my Fininte class was one friend short, my report didn't go as planned and it poured really, really hard this evening (with matching thunderstorms), things went fine and I don't feel bad at all..

Okay, I have to try to sleep in a while...or else sabog ako bukas. I hope the day goes well tomorrow :)

OKAY, na badtrip ako. Kala ko auto-saved yung mga sinulat ko. Ang haba na nun eh biglang nawala pa. BADTRIP talaga.

Sige na nga, simulan natin ulit.

Oo, Sunday na ulit. Hayyy naku. Natapos nanaman ang isang weekend (ang sad!).

Ewan ko ba, hindi naman ako ganito dati. Gusto ko nga na weekday kasi may mga bago na ulit na mangyayari. Pero ewan ko. Siguro na-overload ako sa kung anu-anung mga bagay. Hindi ko alam. Boring kasi ang buhay ko. Walang bago at walang direksyon. Hmmmm...meron naman siguro pero sa ngayon, malabo pa ang mga bagay bagay para sa akin.

Someone please rescue me.

Nandito sila Mommy kanina. Nag-reunion sila ng mga kamag-anak nila sa side ni Lola. Medyo malayu-layo na yun sa family tree kaya hindi ko sila kilala. Syempre, kasama pa rin kaming mga magpipinsan, ang mahal na mga anak, hahaha. At syempre din, na-bore kami. Wala kasi kaming ka-generation dun eh at kung meron man, hindi naman siguro maaasahan na friendly-friendly at closey-closey kami. Hindi nga kasi kami magkakakilala. Kahit pa sabihin na Family sila, awkward pa rin.

Mabuti na lang eh may swing doon. Anu nga ba ang swing sa Tagalog? Duyan? Hindi rin eh, pero siguro pwede na rin. Nasa ilalim ng puno yung swing kaya kahit medyo may kainitan eh okay lang din. Medyo hindi matibay yung swing kaya medyo nakakatakot kasi alam naman natin na mabigat ~~ako~~ kami (in denial! haha :p). Masaya naman mag-swing. Bata pa lang ako ay mahilig na ako dun. Masaya din kanina habang nagsi-swing dahil nahulog si Katrina, hahaha. Mabuti na rin sa kanya kasi kahit ganun, si Enzo lang din yung nakakita. Naka-recover na siya nung tumingin kami ng mga pinsan ko, hahaha. Sayang! :p

(Joke lang Chi :p ok lang, natawa ka naman din eh.)

Anyway, balik tayo sa usapang Family. Nakakanas na ba kayo na yung tito/tita nyo eh mas bata pa sa inyo (as in toddler pa), o di kaya, yung pinsan nyo eh mas matanda pa sa nanay nyo (as in yung pwede nang lola/lolo)? Ayun, ganun ang mga nangyari kanina. Pinakilala kami sa mga "pinsan" namin at sa mga "pamagkin" namin. Weird ng feeling pero wala wala lang din sa akin...ewan ko. Masama ba ako? Eh hindi ko kasi talaga sila kilala eh. Sorry na lang din.

Ayun, nagkulitan lang din kami ng mga pinsan ko. Buti na lang umuwi kami ng maaga. Niloloko kasi kami, sabi hanggang dinner daw kami dun. Lusaw na siguro kami ngayon. Nakakita kami ng mga bibe (ducks) bago umalis dun (quack, quack). Nag-sundae din kami ng McDo bago umuwi. Yey! :)

May mga nakuha akong mga litrato pero sa susunod ko na lang ilalagay. Tinatamad ako.

Ah, nung isang araw, may taong nag-add sa akin sa YM na hindi ko kilala. Familiar yung pangalan pero syempre, hindi naman ako ganun kasigurado. Nagkataon na nag-online yung taong yun kagabi kaya tinanong ko kung sino siya. Tama nga ang hinala ko, siya nga yung schoolmate ko nung high school. Sabi nila, may itsura daw siya pero hindi ko rin naman alam o na-verify kasi hindi kami close eh. Nakikita ko siya pero yun lang yun. Boyfriend din siya ng kaibigan ko noon at nagka-issue din dahil biglaan siya umalis nun. Hahaha, chismis na ba ito? Redentor ang pangalan nya pero mas kilala ko siya as Moja. Ang cute noh? Naalala ko tuloy yung Anime na Mojako, hahaha :D

O, Moja, kung mabasa mo man ito, (at malamang ay oo dahil most likely ay sasabihan kita..) yey! Special mention ka sa blog ko. Feeling close na talaga tayo, hahaha.. :p

Nakakatawa din kami noh, kung kailan pa kami hindi na schoolmates at walang totoong connection sa isa't isa eh tsaka pa kami nakapag-usap. The power of YM nga naman. Amazing. Hello din kay Dodi na schoolmate ko din noon na inadd din ako sa YM tulad ni Moja..mga nag migrate na ka-batch :)

Anyway, ayun na muna. Ayusin ko pa yung kalat ng mga aso. Nginatngat yung lalagyan ng 1x1 ID pic ko eh. :( Buti na lang din, isa na lang yun.

It was Tuesday night then and I still hadn't gone back to Manila despite the fact that I already had school the next day. Yes, for the first time, I didn't look forward to going to school. I find that really, really weird because I've always loved going to school. Mom tells me that I'm just growing up and getting to be more realistic about things. I really don't know. Maybe because......

hahaha, nah. I'm sure it's not that (anymore). I've grown passed that stage. Nothing's final I guess pero for now...NAH :)

Anyway, I'm really not in the mood to enumerate my subjects and profs as I used to..yeah, tinatamad ako. All I know is, I know this term's gonna be a bigger challenge Majors..uhhh..papers..the sked, oh my golly. Only three days gone and I'm exhausted. We'll see..

Hmmm, what else..CS was the first notable person I saw during first day, his back, haha.. hmm, same same..but what the heck, that's how it's been for a while now...sabi nga ni Wise, dapat sanay na ako and at least there's improvement and maybe we're not APs after all.. :p wehehehe..Keeps, on the other hand, is still very supportive and encouraging on stuff, haha :)

Genie made a shocking move today. Nagulat talaga ako dun sa nangyari, but anyway, it's really not that big of a deal. I just don't want to revisit old me and have the same reactions if ever. At least Geebee was thinking of other things that time. Me = saved.

What other nonsense thing to type..hmmmm..ah! I saw Glassman three times today, but that's so last term, wehehe :p Kidding..

Hayy, gotta work on stuff this weekend..I'm SOOO looking forward to next week..riiight.

~ boredom, dreams, names etc ~

I've been bored a lot lately especially yesterday afternoon and today. Wala talagang magawa. Zero. Anyhow, ok na rin compared to having to juggle tons of school work. I'm getting myself ready for everything that's coming this year most especially because medyo nadagdagan yung responsibilities besides academics. We'll see what happens.. :p Praying, praying, praying.. :)

Because I was bored, I went online all day yesterday and today, literally. Well, of course I also went home to Batangas and slept in between kahit papanu. And anu pa ba...Hmmm ayyy, I forgot, I was supposed to forget about everything nga pala, hahaha..anu nga, Ralph? wahahahaha..loko ka talaga! :p Anyway, sige, stop na dun :p Thanks na rin lessening the boredom kahit papanu, wahahaha :p

What's with the name? Everyone has their story. I remember moments when we were asked in class where our names originated. The activity was done twice in high school (3rd and 4th year, I think) and once in college (Genpsych). The weirdest story I've encountered so far was from my friend Elro (her whole name is Elrobeliza, by the way :p). Parts of her name were from the name of her mother's ex-boyfriend. O di ba? We all asked her if her dad didn't feel bad about it and think she answered that he was disappointed a bit (sino kayang hindi noh?? :p). Another friend had RV as his name (as in yun lang). Weird noh?? Parents talaga, you'll never know when creativity (or the lack of it) will strike, hehe. Anyhow, a new found friend from school, Java, and I were taking about names a while ago. I find her name quite cute and interesting (It's Jayveline :p).

Java: walang connect sa names ng parents ko..hahaha..johny and nancy
Isabel: kala ko pinag mix ung names ng parents mo eh..parang gnun kasi
Java: hahhaha o nga e jv and lynn eh noh..ahahhaa
Isabel: hahahah..pwede! hahaha..ang isip ko jay at eveline
Java: hahahhahahah pwede!!!!!!!!!!!

Hmmm..I read something about parents who mix up their names for their kids and their other wild//creative naming strategies. It's HERE. Creative? Uhm, the person who wrote it doesn't think so :p Bob Ong also wrote something about it in one of his books..I think it's Bakit Baliktad Magbasa ang mga Pilipino or Stainless Longganisa. :)

As for me, it's just plain old Isabel. It was supposed to be Beatrice but I dunno, Dad changed his mind last minute when he saw me. That's my oh-so-exciting name story, hahaha. Na-trippan lang ni Dad na maging Isabel ako. And it's not even the unique/different Isabel (e.g. Ysabel, Ysabelle, Isabelle..). It's just Isabel.

I used to complain about it coz my sister and brother have two names. Tinamad ata sa akin eh coz I'm the firstborn. My mom's/dad's answer to my complaint was that Isabel was my only name because it can stand alone as it is. Coincidentally, Java pointed that out to me too. Powerful ba ang name ko? Wehehehe :p

Anyhow, I don't really have any problem with my name nowadays. I love it actually. People tell me they like it (sosyal ba? hahaha). This woman, after introducing myself, even told me that she'll name her baby girl Isabel if ever she'll have one (awww, touched ako :p).

So yeah, I guess, being plain and simple Isabel isn't so bad after all. :)

(oh my, ang vain nung entry ko..hahaha :p bored eh!!)

PS. Why is 'dreams' in the title? hahaha..ask me, I'll tell you :p

~ what i've been up to ~

Wow, it's been a while. A lot has been up lately so this might be a long one...if I don't get lazy along the way.

May 7 - General Assembly of Business and Economics Assembly (BEA)
Hmm..it was fun kahit papanu. Although there were a lot of familiar and friendly faces, I'm still on the getting-to-know stage with them. Those things kinda take time for me, haha :) pasensiya na at medyo maarte ako. People are friendly though so I hope I'll be able to adjust really soon. :D

May 8 - Supposedly Bumming Day
I went to school to complete my requirements for the Canvass Watching thing I signed up for. Turns out things were fine already. Should have just continued sleeping :p

Why did I sign up?
I got guilty because I didn't register for the 2007 elections so i decided to volunteer to guard votes instead. Yeah, I know..bad. I'm not into politics kasi eh. I'm confused with a lot of things about it. Bad excuse, I know and I feel a bit sorry about it. Because of this guilt-tripping, things got complicated. I'll get to it in a while :p

May 9 - LPEP07 for CBE Day 1
Lasallian Personal Effectiveness Program. This is the orientation for incoming freshmen in DLSU. I volunteered under BEA so off I went for school at 5:15 in the morning to get there at 6:15 which was the call time. Eh 7 am pa pala, hahaha. It was ok though. BEA helped in the registration during the morning and SC module in the afternoon. We were all supposed to be working in pairs but there was a mix-up so I ended up having no partner (sad, haha). Aimee (our College Assembly President) got proxies for me though (pa-importante ako noh, haha :p) I ended up working with ~~multiple partners~~ (eww, haha..doesn't sound so good :p) a bunch of people. For registration, got "paired" with vlad and cheng. Vlad was funny, hyper and makulit...in a good way :) hahaha..he even wore the nametag which I labelled incorrectly and passed himself off as a froshie, hahaha (PERRY! hahaha). He even convinced the LAMB (Lasallian Ambassador) assigned to our block that he was one. Pinapapila pa yata siya nun eh, haha. Cheng on the other hand was really nice and I had fun talking with him. He and a friend of mine (and Amelie's other friend too, hehe) were in the same course so we had a bunch to talk about.. :) thanks guys! Me? I was on friendly mode for the froshies, haha. I really had fun though..frustrated LAMB ba? hehehe :p

After registration, we (or rather they) practiced for SC Module. Got away with not practicing, hehehe.. Spent half of the break time with Steph, a fellow LPEP volunteer, and my friends. Amelie, Susie and I went upstairs to COSCA after a while.

SC Module in the afternoon. Got paired with Mack. He was really nice and accomodating. The frosh were so, sooooo quiet. Even though I didn't practice, I did ok for my part, I guess. Didn't stay for the welcoming coz I had to go home. Was uber tired but had fun. :)

May 10 - LENTE Training at Integrated Bar of the Philippines at Ortigas
Canvass Watching. I learned a lot of stuff from this one but was kinda overloaded by it. The meeting took place from about 2pm to 7pm. Was with Kuya Wadell and Edgar. Tiring and I ended up thinking, "What the hell did I get myself into???." Walked from IBP to MRT Station going home together with Iris, a fellow student/volunteer.. haha :p

May 11 - Bumming Day
Slept at around 5am then woke up for lunch. I think I started watching Heroes this day.. :p Was supposed to go home to the province but LENTE texted for an affair for the next day.

May 12 - PPCRV/LENTE Send-off Mass at Ateneo
Went with Tessa coz I'm not familiar with Katipunan. Met up with Iris at Jollibee then took the tricycle to Ateneo High School. Got Assigned to Kalookan then met up with our teammates. Went home by LRT2. Saw my former Alma Mater (SBS) up close after about10 years. Wow.. :p Went home to the province. YEY! :D

May 13 - Mothers' Day :)
We just stayed home but it was ok coz we've been away for the whole week :) hmmm..ah! I had driving lessons with my dad again. It was my 2nd time to drive. I guess I was ok coz the car isn't automatic so it was really challenging for me. The engine went off about 6 times, wahaha :p Dad didn't show it but he was in a bit of panic coz I act kinda childish when subject to these things. :p We were on the highway going to Shell Refinery and I think I drove for about 4 to 5 km, I think :p Can't wait for the next session, well, I hope there's still gona be one, hahaha :D

May 14 - Election Day
Bummed around the house the whole day watching a bit of TV. Had to go back to Manila for my LENTE assignment. Didn't know how to go to Caloocan so I asked mom and dad.

May 15 - LENTE day
Rode the bus going to Monumento and arrived there before 6am. Rode the taxi to City Hall as instructed (or rather ordered) by Dad. Taxi driver didn't know where it was either. Stupid, yeah, but I give him credit na rin coz mabait naman cya. Arrived there but City Hall was still closed and the Ballots still weren't there. Met up with my team. Kuya Rick and Kuya Ariel who are both jeepney drivers and friends; Atty. Lotoc and her assistant Kuya Jeppy; Iris a student from FEU and a fellow volunteer, and Edgar, a friend from school/COSCA.. :)

We waited for the ballots till about 1pm. While we did, we talked about a lot of stuff about the elections, the candidates and all. Had a bunch of laughs too :p Ballots for 1st district arrived at 1:54pm. We observed the moving of ballot boxes from the truck to the Canvass Area. So bummed coz I didn't bring a camera to take pics :'(. We were lucky enough to enter the Canvass Area but waited a loooong time coz Canvass didn't start yet. Other people from LENTE arrived, Atty, Arriola and her assistant Sir Emir. Gave us our allowance for the day (kala ko joke time lang yun, totoo pala). Had a bunch of laughs with them as well coz of the weird stuff the people are doing in the Canvass Area. We almost got to be interviewed for a documentary in GMA7. Waaah, hahaha. Had to leave at about 7pm coz it wasn't safe. Canvass began after we left but Edgar told me there were sooo many problems that night. Ended at 12am.

May 16 - LENTE day 2
Hayyy..Spent the whole day at Caloocan, half of it just hanging around at KFC and talking with Iris. Apparently, PPCRV and COMELEC had problems and issued new IDs. We, unfortunately didn't get ours so we couldn't enter the canvass area. Iris and I still hung around outside City Hall and observed the people there. It was my last day for Canvass Watch.

May 18 - BEA Teambuilding at Rizal! :p
At first, I was having doubts whether I would go or not coz I'm kinda a newbie at BEA. But Amelie and I thought that the teambuilding is supposed to help us get to know people..doi. Anyhow, I sure didn't have any regrets in joining coz I had sooooo much fun with the BEA people. We were at Sansan's "house" at Binangonan, Rizal. It was paradise! And all we had to pay for was 100 bucks. Grabe, worth it talaga! :p Thanks to everyone!! yey! :p See pics and other stuff at my multiply.

May 19 - MISSION : FAILED!!
I was supposed to go on a medical mission for that day but was informed kinda late that it was cancelled again! Bummer..I thought about going home to Batangas but decided not to and to just pay my tuition instead. Idea struck and I asked Hanna to come with me. I had it all planned out. Hanna was to tell the guards that she'll be paying my tuition (with the enrollment form of course!) and I was going to enter school with my ID. Pretty simple right? NOT!! My ID didn't work for the very first time and everything went bonkers starting there..AND take note, we entered at South Gate! Ang Strict pa naman dun! Shet!! hahahaha! :p

Hanna: Magbabayad po ng tuition.
Lady Guard: Keninong tuition?
(Ang tanga ko talaga! sumabat pa! :p)
Me: Sa friend niya po.
Guard: Sinong friend?
(Me and Hanna confused...Hanna points her finger at me!)
Hanna: (confused look) ...Kanya po.
Guard: Ano?
Me: (guilty na!) Akin po. (shet!! tanga!! hahahaha!)
Guard: (to hanna) Eh bakit nasa 'yo yan??!!
(gets the form, gives it to me)
Guard: (to me) Ikaw na magbayad. (to Hanna) Dyan ka lang.

Shet!! NAKAKAHIYA SOBRA!! hahahaha..What's more is that we sat down at the benches nearby and laughed about the situation infront of the guards! Stupid!! hahahaha.. I was really disappointed and sad coz I took Hanna all the way to Taft for nothing :( huhuhu..out of guilt, I treated Hanna at Starbucks Taft. Amelie and Liana went there too afterwards. Hanna and I went to Timezone at Gateway before going home :)

Dinner was fun too! The Carinos gathered together and we had a great time taking pics :) Since Tessa's gonna be going back to Bacolod on Monday (21!! ang sad!! :'( ) We (Hanna, Tessa and I) had some drinks and danced the night away and took wacko pics afterwards..yeah!! hahaha..SABOG but i love it! :p

~ the art of "stalking" ~

I used to think that if I were in 'need' of stalking services, there would only be one person to contact. Who else..eh di si Carmela (kidding! hahaha). I used to think that she was really, really good at it already but I stand corrected. Mas marami pang magaling kaysa sa kanya..as in magaling talaga.

I was blog-hopping a while ago and was able to read blogs of the friends of my friend. I was really amazed with the stuff I saw in their blogs. They had sooo much information gathered on this particular person. Of course it's pretty obvious that the 'stalkers' are female (guy readers, don't flatter yourself, hahaha). Anyhow, they had everything they needed to know about their 'stalkee' which more or less includes the person's whole name and id number (although I already know the easiest way to get those information :p), academic standing, 'slum book info', and even where 'stalkee' would be working in the near future.

And I thought the 'browsing around' that I do occasionally was worthy to be called stalking..eh may mas matindi pa pala! :o Hindi naman nila masyadong kinareer noh? Stalker mode to the highest level. But for what it's worth, magaling talaga sila. Bow down ako sa commitment nila sa kanilang endeavor. haha :D

(To the persons involved, if ever you read this entry, I really don't have anything against any of you, ok? Contact me if ever there's a problem :p )

"Stalking" is usually done for a number of reasons (crushing, obsession, love(???), or plain old curiosity). Finding information about a person you're curious about isn't that bad, (and is even fun for some people) I guess. We all get curious every once in a while (me too, of course!).

However, stalking is one thing but being stalked is another. If you got the chance to be someone's stalkee, would you be scared or flattered?

After a loooong long time (I think it's been more or less two years :p) the Busmates reunited..well, almost (Jobel couldn't make it..hayyy). Lagi na lang kulang yung cast, haha. Everyone is always so damn busy and our schedules never jive but now we were here.. :) Anyhow, the three of us (Brylee, Melvin and I) still made the most out of the time we had. We had lunch at Beben's house then talked about stuff that's been happening in our lives lately (naks! :p). We updated ourselves with news about the other people that we knew during high school. We had a number of photos taken too! (vain-o people, haha!)...

After eating lunch, we decided to go to SM Batangas just to hang out (We couldn't think of any other place to go to kasi wala talagang masyadong mapuntahan dito and Lipa was too far away :p). So there..we walked around the people-flooded mall (coz there was a sale going on and it's the last day) then decided to watch a movie. Since we've watched Spiderman 3 already (and wasn't really that pleased with it), pinatulan namin yung Ang Cute ng Ina Mo, hahaha! Well, it was a bit corny but we laughed na rin kahit papanu while criticizing the actors and the flick itself.

: remembers the scene with Anne Curtis saying, "...And I'm proud to say, ang cute ng ina ko." bwahahahahahaha! :

It really didn't matter to me coz I was happy with the people I were with :)

(yess naman, ang drama! :p)

Anyway, we went to Starbucks afterwards and hung out...talking, talking, talking about how things were with us at present, about stuff and issues during high school etc. O, and of course, had snapshots yet again..

We stayed for about 2 hours then left to stroll around again. We even saw my family shopping around the mall, haha :p After a while, we decided it was time to go so we said our bye byes... :D

I really hope we could meet again soon...all of us pati yung other high school friends :) hayyy..miss them much..

~ no real reason ~

i just felt like writing right now..or rather typing. sometimes, i can't really seem to spot the difference between the two.

wait a minute, i can actually.

anyhow, didn't sleep last night coz my internal clock is on call center mode :p was supposed to be in school this morning so didn't sleep then went for the 3 hour bus ride back to taft avenue. luckily, things went ok for the day and i got to go home earlier than i expected. rode the bus home again. whew.

so much for the day. just really wanted to write. or type. or blog..whatever you would like to call it.

i guess i'm gonna have driving lessons again with dad tomorrow.

manual = hard (or rather, not easy) :p

(especially when you've got nosey neighbors watching and asking how you're doing..sheesh :p)

i guess i'll turn my clock right side up again tonight..will be sleeping.. :p

anyway, you there! smile! :)
