~ realizations and lessons for soph year term 2 week 1 ~

1. i once knew myself as someone who becomes, shall we say, excited, as the first day of classes draws near.. the events of the past week seemingly oppose this fact..and i believe i've predicted it to be such.. :-/

2. i am starting to (hate) dislike going to school more and more..i am still thinking why i do, but maybe the recent events such as the short-lived vacation, ('severed') loosened ties, commuting difficulties and other personal factors contribute to such feelings.. :-/

3. the thought of being independent (from fellow blockmates) in one class is something that i will reconsider when i enroll again in the future..though i do not believe for it to be a bad thing..the feeling is still different when you know that the people you're with are the ones whom you are familiar with and can freely be yourself with..i think GOOD FRIENDS would be the fitting word for that..

4. speaking about/telling someone/writing down something that hurts or troubles you would force out more tears compared to just keeping it to yourself without any effort of expressing it..still, you'll feel all better after you've cried it out..

5. one should avoid hoping and expecting..instead, one should be working hard and praying..

6. the time spent being online lessens one's focus on the things one has to accomplish..not to mention the fact that it gives way to disagreements among siblings and relatives..therefore, (one must race and get the laptop first so you can have it all on your own :p) regulate the usage so as to accomplish worthy and important tasks only (yeah right, how i wish..)

7. never severe any bond with friends..it's healthy to loosen some once in a while, but not to much..to the point that you don't even care if the other one's still breathing or not..

8. whatever one's point of view regarding religion is, respect is still the key..

9. never judge a book by its cover..however cliche sounding it might be, for this term, i'm giving it the benefit of the doubt..hopefully, most of my perceptions will change for the better..

10. without effort, destiny is useless.. (how true)

11. one must continue to always try and look at the bright side..know that there is a higher power that's just around to keep you on the right track..

...i'll try my best to bounce back up :)
