Wow, it's been a while. A lot has been up lately so this might be a long one...if I don't get lazy along the way.

May 7 - General Assembly of Business and Economics Assembly (BEA)
Hmm..it was fun kahit papanu. Although there were a lot of familiar and friendly faces, I'm still on the getting-to-know stage with them. Those things kinda take time for me, haha :) pasensiya na at medyo maarte ako. People are friendly though so I hope I'll be able to adjust really soon. :D

May 8 - Supposedly Bumming Day
I went to school to complete my requirements for the Canvass Watching thing I signed up for. Turns out things were fine already. Should have just continued sleeping :p

Why did I sign up?
I got guilty because I didn't register for the 2007 elections so i decided to volunteer to guard votes instead. Yeah, I know..bad. I'm not into politics kasi eh. I'm confused with a lot of things about it. Bad excuse, I know and I feel a bit sorry about it. Because of this guilt-tripping, things got complicated. I'll get to it in a while :p

May 9 - LPEP07 for CBE Day 1
Lasallian Personal Effectiveness Program. This is the orientation for incoming freshmen in DLSU. I volunteered under BEA so off I went for school at 5:15 in the morning to get there at 6:15 which was the call time. Eh 7 am pa pala, hahaha. It was ok though. BEA helped in the registration during the morning and SC module in the afternoon. We were all supposed to be working in pairs but there was a mix-up so I ended up having no partner (sad, haha). Aimee (our College Assembly President) got proxies for me though (pa-importante ako noh, haha :p) I ended up working with multiple partners (eww, haha..doesn't sound so good :p) a bunch of people. For registration, got "paired" with vlad and cheng. Vlad was funny, hyper and makulit...in a good way :) hahaha..he even wore the nametag which I labelled incorrectly and passed himself off as a froshie, hahaha (PERRY! hahaha). He even convinced the LAMB (Lasallian Ambassador) assigned to our block that he was one. Pinapapila pa yata siya nun eh, haha. Cheng on the other hand was really nice and I had fun talking with him. He and a friend of mine (and Amelie's other friend too, hehe) were in the same course so we had a bunch to talk about.. :) thanks guys! Me? I was on friendly mode for the froshies, haha. I really had fun though..frustrated LAMB ba? hehehe :p

After registration, we (or rather they) practiced for SC Module. Got away with not practicing, hehehe.. Spent half of the break time with Steph, a fellow LPEP volunteer, and my friends. Amelie, Susie and I went upstairs to COSCA after a while.

SC Module in the afternoon. Got paired with Mack. He was really nice and accomodating. The frosh were so, sooooo quiet. Even though I didn't practice, I did ok for my part, I guess. Didn't stay for the welcoming coz I had to go home. Was uber tired but had fun. :)

May 10 - LENTE Training at Integrated Bar of the Philippines at Ortigas
Canvass Watching. I learned a lot of stuff from this one but was kinda overloaded by it. The meeting took place from about 2pm to 7pm. Was with Kuya Wadell and Edgar. Tiring and I ended up thinking, "What the hell did I get myself into???." Walked from IBP to MRT Station going home together with Iris, a fellow student/volunteer.. haha :p

May 11 - Bumming Day
Slept at around 5am then woke up for lunch. I think I started watching Heroes this day.. :p Was supposed to go home to the province but LENTE texted for an affair for the next day.

May 12 - PPCRV/LENTE Send-off Mass at Ateneo
Went with Tessa coz I'm not familiar with Katipunan. Met up with Iris at Jollibee then took the tricycle to Ateneo High School. Got Assigned to Kalookan then met up with our teammates. Went home by LRT2. Saw my former Alma Mater (SBS) up close after about10 years. Wow.. :p Went home to the province. YEY! :D

May 13 - Mothers' Day :)
We just stayed home but it was ok coz we've been away for the whole week :) hmmm..ah! I had driving lessons with my dad again. It was my 2nd time to drive. I guess I was ok coz the car isn't automatic so it was really challenging for me. The engine went off about 6 times, wahaha :p Dad didn't show it but he was in a bit of panic coz I act kinda childish when subject to these things. :p We were on the highway going to Shell Refinery and I think I drove for about 4 to 5 km, I think :p Can't wait for the next session, well, I hope there's still gona be one, hahaha :D

May 14 - Election Day
Bummed around the house the whole day watching a bit of TV. Had to go back to Manila for my LENTE assignment. Didn't know how to go to Caloocan so I asked mom and dad.

May 15 - LENTE day
Rode the bus going to Monumento and arrived there before 6am. Rode the taxi to City Hall as instructed (or rather ordered) by Dad. Taxi driver didn't know where it was either. Stupid, yeah, but I give him credit na rin coz mabait naman cya. Arrived there but City Hall was still closed and the Ballots still weren't there. Met up with my team. Kuya Rick and Kuya Ariel who are both jeepney drivers and friends; Atty. Lotoc and her assistant Kuya Jeppy; Iris a student from FEU and a fellow volunteer, and Edgar, a friend from school/COSCA.. :)

We waited for the ballots till about 1pm. While we did, we talked about a lot of stuff about the elections, the candidates and all. Had a bunch of laughs too :p Ballots for 1st district arrived at 1:54pm. We observed the moving of ballot boxes from the truck to the Canvass Area. So bummed coz I didn't bring a camera to take pics :'(. We were lucky enough to enter the Canvass Area but waited a loooong time coz Canvass didn't start yet. Other people from LENTE arrived, Atty, Arriola and her assistant Sir Emir. Gave us our allowance for the day (kala ko joke time lang yun, totoo pala). Had a bunch of laughs with them as well coz of the weird stuff the people are doing in the Canvass Area. We almost got to be interviewed for a documentary in GMA7. Waaah, hahaha. Had to leave at about 7pm coz it wasn't safe. Canvass began after we left but Edgar told me there were sooo many problems that night. Ended at 12am.

May 16 - LENTE day 2
Hayyy..Spent the whole day at Caloocan, half of it just hanging around at KFC and talking with Iris. Apparently, PPCRV and COMELEC had problems and issued new IDs. We, unfortunately didn't get ours so we couldn't enter the canvass area. Iris and I still hung around outside City Hall and observed the people there. It was my last day for Canvass Watch.

May 18 - BEA Teambuilding at Rizal! :p
At first, I was having doubts whether I would go or not coz I'm kinda a newbie at BEA. But Amelie and I thought that the teambuilding is supposed to help us get to know people..doi. Anyhow, I sure didn't have any regrets in joining coz I had sooooo much fun with the BEA people. We were at Sansan's "house" at Binangonan, Rizal. It was paradise! And all we had to pay for was 100 bucks. Grabe, worth it talaga! :p Thanks to everyone!! yey! :p See pics and other stuff at my multiply.

May 19 - MISSION : FAILED!!
I was supposed to go on a medical mission for that day but was informed kinda late that it was cancelled again! Bummer..I thought about going home to Batangas but decided not to and to just pay my tuition instead. Idea struck and I asked Hanna to come with me. I had it all planned out. Hanna was to tell the guards that she'll be paying my tuition (with the enrollment form of course!) and I was going to enter school with my ID. Pretty simple right? NOT!! My ID didn't work for the very first time and everything went bonkers starting there..AND take note, we entered at South Gate! Ang Strict pa naman dun! Shet!! hahahaha! :p

Hanna: Magbabayad po ng tuition.
Lady Guard: Keninong tuition?
(Ang tanga ko talaga! sumabat pa! :p)
Me: Sa friend niya po.
Guard: Sinong friend?
(Me and Hanna confused...Hanna points her finger at me!)
Hanna: (confused look) ...Kanya po.
Guard: Ano?
Me: (guilty na!) Akin po. (shet!! tanga!! hahahaha!)
Guard: (to hanna) Eh bakit nasa 'yo yan??!!
(gets the form, gives it to me)
Guard: (to me) Ikaw na magbayad. (to Hanna) Dyan ka lang.

Shet!! NAKAKAHIYA SOBRA!! hahahaha..What's more is that we sat down at the benches nearby and laughed about the situation infront of the guards! Stupid!! hahahaha.. I was really disappointed and sad coz I took Hanna all the way to Taft for nothing :( huhuhu..out of guilt, I treated Hanna at Starbucks Taft. Amelie and Liana went there too afterwards. Hanna and I went to Timezone at Gateway before going home :)
