Kat went home the other day with a surprise inside her Dora the Explorer goodie bag. Tadah! It was a frog. It was a Friday night then and she was supposed to dissect it for the weekend so that she can study. So Dora (Kat named her such assuming that it was a female because it did not croak) spent her waiting time in a tumbler inside our bathroom. I kinda felt sorry for it but I can’t really do anything about it, can I?

I was supposed to witness the procedure the next day but Kat decided to go home to the province and do it there with Dad instead (coz if anyone can help her skin a frog, it’s definitely Dad :D). I on the other hand stayed here for the weekend for my field trip which I already blabbered about..see previous post. :)

Kat came back yesterday with Dora inside a jar of Kraft mayonnaise.

Kat: Ay, Ate..alam mo na yung kwento?

Me: Na ?

Kat: Yung isang trabahador sa (Name of Cement), na-giniling daw yung arm sabi ni Dad tapos naging patient niya…(laughs)

Me: Ha?! Yuck…kawawa naman. Panu nangyari?

Kat: Basta nung nag-aayos ata sila ng equipment, may nakalimutan sila na alisin or something kaya yun. Giniling.

Me: Wow, kawawa naman.

Kat: And wala daw makalapit para tumulong sabi ni Dad.

Me: Malamang, kadiri yun eh. Kawawa siya lalo.

Kat: Yeah, no one was man enough to help daw. Pero ayun, inayos na lang nila Dad. Dami daw paper work now…busy.

Kat: Pero hindi pa daw yun yung worse accident sa planta..

Me: O? Anu daw?

Kat: Alam mo yung Crusher? Yung mga sa mga Lime panggawa ng cement sa planta? Yung paglabas powder na?

Me: O, anu daw nangyari?

Kat: May lalaki daw na nahulog dun. Hindi na daw nakita (laughs)

Me: As in wala? (Awkward laugh) Wow, kawawa naman…

Kat: Yup, sabi ni Dad vanished daw (laughs)

Me: Well, walang magagawa…accidents happen. Sana lang wag ako magka-accident ng ganun..

Kat: Yeah, I guess so.

Me: Pero wait, weird…wala man lang chunks or blood man lang? Kasi solid naman yung lime kaya magiging powder.

Kat: Wala eh, as in wala daw talaga.

Me: Well…I guess he’s probably part of a house or building somewhere…yeee..scary.

Your house, maybe? :p
